North Star The prominent star that lies closest in the sky to the north celestial pole, and which appears directly overhead to an observer at the Earth’s North Pole. The orange band going across the sky is just light pollution from a nearby street lamp.  These past couple of days have been busy for me. Tomorrow will be my 2nd to the last day in the Philippines. I’m moving to the States on Sunday. I’m happy, sad, nervous, and excited all at the same time.
