When I’m out taking photos, it feels like I’m in my own world and nothing else seems to matter; I am at one with the scenery that surrounds me. I feel excited yet tranquil at the same time, as weird as that may be.

I have a passion for taking landscapes, nature, travel, and long exposures.

Nothingness
It was a rainy late afternoon and I decided it would be a good time to take seascape photos. I wanted to go somewhere new so I consulted my potential shoot locations list and chose Bradenton Beach which ended up being a 2 hour drive each way with the weather and traffic. I was shooting for just a little over an hour; it was very challenging due to the rain and all the filters / gear getting wet and having to constantly wipe the filters to avoid water spots in the shot however I still found it relaxing and enjoyable and I came home with a few shots that I was very much happy with which makes it all worth it.
This is a 30 second exposure of the rain clouds over the sea while I was standing over a broken pier which you aren’t really supposed to go on top of. These are the things you do for a good perspective or a potential shot.

Monochromatic Conversion

To be honest I like both versions of the image so much that I can’t help but post them both. This was taken a few hours ago at Bradenton Beach, Florida and this is a four minute exposure.

The two minute exposure breaks down the scene to its bare elements. Taken in Honeymoon Island, Florida.
